Business Meetings/Monthly Socials - We take care of any business during the first 15-20 minutes of this meeting and then have a guest speaker, a group discussion, a social hour for the moms, or a party for the kids. There is a nursery available. This is a great event for prospective members to attend to find out more about our club. MOMS Night Out - Going out one night a month gives us the chance to socialize, relax, and have fun with each other. We might go to a restaurant one month and the next month have a card night at a member's home, for instance. Cooking Club - Called "Make and Take", this group cooks a recipe in bulk to freeze; they meet in members' homes. Book Club - This group reads one chapter of a book each month and discusses it at their monthly meeting. Scrapbooking Club - Meeting at members' homes, these moms get some time to work on their scrapbooks while the children play. Walking Club - This group walks for exercise
and fun. Stroller babies and older kids enjoy the fresh air in the summer
months and people watching in the malls when it gets cold! "Helping Hands" MOMS - This program is when members help other members in our group who are in need by bringing meals to them or babysitting their other children. Some reasons for needing this assistance might include being on bedrest, having a family emergency, or having a new baby.
